At one point in my “blogging journey”, when I actually thought I could be consistent and make a fucking effort with something I enjoy, I signed up to a few different sites that send out e-mails to bloggers with certain articles or products to review or post about. Like any person of my generation, I usually just leave e-mails I should read as “Unread” for at least three days, finally read them and then wonder why I bothered but one particular article I got sent over recently did actually catch my attention.
OnlyFans feels like a buzzword in pop culture at the moment, with everyone suddenly claiming to know everything about it and celebs joining up left, right and centre to cash in. There’s a lot I could say about the sudden influx of people joining up to OnlyFans. I’m all for people making their money but it can be slightly jarring to see how many people sign up, assuming that sudden wealth will be imminent and using the industry as a novelty, not realising you still have to put in work. It’s not a case of “build it and they will cum” but that is a blog post for another day!
One of the most tedious jokes that men I often meet make to me is “maybe I should start an OnlyFans”, which is just another unimaginative variant on “maybe I should webcam/join the porn industry”. I’m the kind of person who refuses to laugh at bad jokes partly because I’m a bitch and partly because I refuse to encourage lazy comedy. We all have our hill to die on and that is mine! Anyway, I digress…
Inspired by the current trend and with the Premier League season back in full swing, TopRatedCasinos.co.uk were curious to find out how much money the poster boys of England’s top division could potentially make if they were on OnlyFans.

THE RESULTS
In first, Gareth Bale would be the Premier League’s biggest potential earner on OnlyFans. The Welsh footballer could potentially make an estimated amount of £21,788,280 per month if he decided to share his most intimate clips on the platform – that would be almost 16X more than his monthly salary at Tottenham this season!
Close to Bale, red devil Paul Pogba comes in hot and potential second place. The Manchester United midfielder could potentially earn £20,886,696 by just sharing his private photos with subscribers on OnlyFans. That’s 18 times his current salary for playing at the top level of English football.
The Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero completes the potential top 3 of Premier League players that could potentially earn the most money on OnlyFans. Although Aguero’s estimated numbers aren’t as impressive as his fellow footballers, he could still potentially make almost 9X MORE per month on OnlyFans than playing for City with a total of £7,312,848.
Bottom of the pile comes Hector Bellerin. Last year, the Arsenal wing-back inadvertently showed off his private parts on social media when trying to update his fans after a surgery. According to the study conducted by TopRatedCasinos.co.uk, he could have been potentially earning £1,552,728 if he decided to sell this kind of content on purpose via his OnlyFans profile.
Methodology:
• To achieve the top 10 list of Premier League players, TopRatedCasinos.co.uk surveyed 2,760 Brits asking: “Which of the Premier League’s players would you pay to receive private content from on OnlyFans?”.
• The footballers’ “earnings” on OnlyFans show how much each player would potentially earn if they had proportionally the same number of subscriptions on OnlyFans as they have Instagram followers. To get to this proportion, the total number of users on OnlyFans (30 million) were divided by the number of Instagram’s total users (1 billion). Then multiplied by each player’s total number of Instagram followers to find their approximate followers on OnlyFans. The figures were taken on 06/10/2020.
• The results of (potential) OnlyFan’s followers were multiplied by the average monthly subscription price (¬£15) of the platform. After that, the amount was multiplied by 0.8 to account for the OnlyFans’ commission (20% per subscription).
• Gareth Bale, Paul Pogba and Sergio Aguero’s salary were taken from The Sun, published on 17/09/2020.
Personally, the top 3 Premier League footballers I’d pay to see on OnlyFans are Jesse Lingard, Dejan Lovren and Lacazette but to be honest, I know this poll was just a bit of fun but I have SO MANY QUESTIONS! Did they ask men and women because, trust me, it’s hard enough getting straight men to sign up to females OF pages, I really can’t imagine them shelling out to see what Bale is packing! If it hadn’t been Premier League only, I can guarantee you Cristiano would have been head and shoulders above anyone else, right at the top of the pile.
Either way, it was an interesting poll. Let me know who YOU think should be topping this chart!
