As I mentioned in my previous post, I have been lucky enough recently to be gifted a delicious set of sex toys from the wonderful Vegan Toys (www.vegantoys.co.uk). As the name would suggest, Vegan Toys sell a whole range of sex toys for both men and woman, as well as toys for couples, with their own product range being made without any harsh chemicals or materials. Don’t be deceived by the name though; you don’t have to be a vegan to enjoy these toys – if you like a thick juicy steak as much as you like a thick juicy length, you can still knock yourself out with the whole plethora of pleasure makers the site sells!
Having worked in the sex industry for a decade now, I like to think of myself as something of a connoisseur when it comes to sex toys. I’m not saying they’d be my specialist subject on Mastermind, but I definitely know what works for me or not when it comes to getting myself off. One of the first things that drew me to the Vegan Toy brand was their ethos that, just like fruit and vegetables are good for your body, “orgasms are healthy” and good for you too. And orgasms are not just about pleasure; they are a good stress reliver too, they help you sleep better and apparently they can even relieve pain such as muscle tension and headaches, too! As if you needed anymore of a reason to make yourself cum…
Vibrators
Ah, vibrators. The secret weapon that every woman should have in her bedside drawer. I know I’m not alone when I say I absolutely love a vibrator. Not every woman uses sex toys and if you’ve never used one before then I would personally recommend starting out with the smaller, “bullet” type ones as they are a lot less intimidating than the larger, insertion type dildos or vibrators and they are a perfect way to ease yourself into finding exactly what intensity you need to get off. I’m also a big fan of the mini vibrators as they feel like the perfect travel size and are slightly more discrete to throw in your bedside drawer as opposed to a great big 8 inch thick dildo.
Buying yourself a vibrator will not only add levels to your solo game that you hadn’t even imagined but sex toys such as these can also be introduced into the bedroom at any stage during your foreplay or lovemaking. Like most women, I can only cum from clitoral stimulation, even during sex, so I find that the best time to introduce a vibrator when you’re with a partner is when you are in the doggy style position – the favored position of oh so many men. Doggy style is good for deep penetration but it leaves us women with little to no stimulation on our clits (unless you put a pillow underneath you but trust me, a vibrator is better) and these smaller vibrators are the perfect size to whip out during this time!

Vegan Toys sent me three different vibrators to try – the eggplant, the corn on the cob and the chili pepper. Aesthetically yes, they are novelty items but that doesn’t take away from how good they actually are!
Each of these three toys offer different speeds with the eggplant and chili pepper both boasting 10 different vibration speeds whilst the corn on the cob has six speeds. For me personally I only ever tend to use 2-3 different speeds anyway so each toy was more than able to satisfy me but if you do prefer a more intense and faster speed to get you going then I would personally recommend the chill pepper as it seemed to have the strongest pulsing speed of the three. The chilli pepper is also the only toy that can be taken into the bath or shower with you as it is waterproof and trust me, making yourself cum whilst in a nice hot bath with the water lapping over your breasts will hands down be one of the best orgasms you can treat yourself too.

I don’t personally tend to insert the smaller vibrators such as these but they are safe and comfortable for both vaginal and anal play. Of the three, I can imagine the corn on the cob feeling the best insertion wise due to the ridges on it but on the whole, the differences between the three as vibrators are quite subtle. Vegan Toys sell a range of different food related vibrators, from the three pictured here to gherkin and banana shapes so if you’re going for novelty value on top of everything else, I would go with the eggplant vibrator because well ???
Remember to also give your toys a quick but thorough clean after use. I personally use this toy cleaner, which is also vegan.

Dildos
I was also sent through a selection of glass dildos from Vegan Toys, which are absolutely beautiful! Personally, I’ve never really been one for putting toys inside of myself as am much more about clit-based stimulation but I do have a very special place in my heart – or vagina – for glass dildos. I find some of them so pretty that they could almost be ornaments, although I would definitely advise cleaning after use before displaying them on your mantlepiece.
The idea of a glass sex toy can be quite intimidating to some but honestly, they are a game changer. Not only do they look good but glass toys are also incredibly sleek and feel amazing to use. They are also really easy to clean – you can even put them in the dishwasher, should the mood take you – and because they are made from glass they are hypoallergenic and toxin free!

I was sent the eggplant and the cucumber dildos and, of the two, I would say the eggplant would be the best to try first if you’re just easing yourself into using dildos but I personally preferred the cucumber as it was slightly thicker and I found the length a lot more satisfying, as well as being a lot easier to grip. It also has a very knobbly texture – I think the professional term is “ridged” but I prefer knobbly – which you can really feel, especially when thrusting. The benefits of such a textured toy are made even better if you twist them slightly as you’re slowly pushing in and out. Thank me later. This decidedly decadent toy would provide the same delicious sensations if being used as an anal toy. The only downside with glass toys is that there is less “give” with them than your usual silicon type dildos so they are less forgiving when you are thrusting and the like. However, the pros far outweigh the cons and I would highly recommend the cucumber dildo, although I also have my eye on the banana one…
Temperature play
My most favourite thing about glass toys is the extra pleasure you can introduce by using different temperatures on your toy. If you’ve never put a (clean) glass dildo in the fridge for a while before using it then you are missing OUT! If you’ve ever used ice in the bedroom before to stimulate your nipples or clit then I would definitely recommend using a cold glass dildo – the sensation of the cold glass sliding up into you is second to none. ?
If the cold isn’t your thing, glass toys can be put into hot tap water before use too, which can also feel amazingly pleasurable. Be sure to never use boiling water – unless you want a blistered fandingo – and never go from really hot to really cold quickly, as the glass can crack and that’s a whole other level of kinky that I don’t encourage.
Vegan Toys have very graciously gifted my readers with a discount code for 15% off every purchase if you enter JAYE15 at checkout. The site also boast a whole range of sex toys for all you horny males out there – I don’t have a penis but if I did, I would most definitely want to try something like this. Sometimes there’s a bit of a stigma surrounding male sex toys but honestly, I don’t know why you wouldn’t. The tight, lubed up grip of something like this or this would add SO MUCH to your jerk off session – I’d be all over it if I was a guy!
